Thursday, August 20th

  • Slightly Stoopid Live at Live Oak Bank Pavilion: Are you feeling Slightly Stoopid? Catch them live at Live Oak Bank Pavilion. Tickets are available now and the show starts at 7pm.

  • West Side Story at Thalian Hall: It’s a West Side Story! Check out this Broadway classic right here in Wilmington at 7:30pm. Tickets are available so get yours today!

  • Music Bingo at Island Beverage: Show off your musical prowess with music bingo by Top Shelf Trivia! Dancing and singing will be encouraged and prizes are available to win! Stop by at 6:30pm to play.

  • Trivia Night at Seven Mile Post: Use it or lose it! Pull out your random trivia facts and play to win at Seven Mile Post. Prizes and drink specials will be available! The game starts at 6:30pm

  • Live! at Cameron Art Museum: Take a walk through the gallery as you listen to live music! It’s Live! At CAM Cafe — grab a bite from the cafe and then get free admission to the gallery to spend the rest of your evening. Music starts at 6pm.

Friday, August 21st

  • Sunny Day Market at Water Street: It’s always a good time to shop, but it’s never better than Friday nights with Water Street Market! Support local when you shop small businesses and vendors from 5-9pm.

  • Summer Concert Series at Airlie Garden: The summer concert series at Airlie isn’t over yet! Jam out beneath the open sky at you listen to No Regretz, a classic blues and rock band. Tickets are available today!

  • End of Summer Market at Waterline Brewing Company: Glow after dark! Support local women and business owners at this evening market. Shop Wilmington boutiques, handmade items, unique finds, and more at this indoor market from 5-9pm.

  • Feature Friday at The Children’s Museum of Wilmington: Have a summer Friday with the kiddos at The Children’s Museum of Wilmington! Join the Coastal Carolina Rabbit Rescue and Bellamy Mansion to learn about their missions as you play together. Stop by from 9:30am-2:30pm.

  • Pollinator Count at the NHC Arboretum: Bee curious this weekend at the NC Arboretum! This is a family-friendly educational event where you can learn about all of the buzzing parts of the southeast and how we can support them as community members, future scientists, and gardeners! Registration is required.

  • Camp Riverwalk at Hotel Ballast: Calling all campers! The Patio Parties are in full swing from 12pm-10pm. Listen to live music, play yard games, and enjoy food and drink specials all day long!

Art in the Yard returns: The Art in the Yard showcase is back this September to celebrate more than 50 artists in Carolina Beach. This feee event is scheduled for September 19 and 20.

Annual Jerry Day is back: Port City is celebrating year 8 of hosting their annual Jerry Day in honor of the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia. Celebrate with them on September 12.

New restaurant to open in Wilmington: Seabird has a new downtown neighbor — Little Bird. Little Bird will offer breakfast, lunch, and eventually, dinner. It is preparing to open in January.
