Thursday, May 1

  • Goat Yoga at Waterline Brewing: Downward Dog is so last season… This summer, we’re all doing goat yoga! Check it out for yourself at Waterline Brewing from 6:30-7:30pm. All ages and experience levels are welcome. One beverage is included with the ticket.

  • Live! at CAM Cafe: “Sip” back and listen at the Cameron Arts Museum Cafe! Robert Bosco will be joining you for dinner and a cocktail for his live acoustic performance. The music is from 6-8pm.

  • Cardio Dance Party for Adults at The Dance Element: Sweat it out the fun way with The Dance Element! Join them for one hour of Zumba — no registration is required! No previous experience is necessary. Dance it off from 6:30-7:30pm.

  • 2nd Annual Taste of Golf at Shell Island Resort: Do The Masters have you feeling ready to hit the tee box? Start by giving back first with First Tee of Greater Wilmington’s Annual Taste of Golf.

  • Grown Folx Book Fair at The Roasted Bookery: It’s that time again — join The Roasted Bookery for their monthly pop-up bookstore! Browse a curated selection of adult and young adult titles for your next read or some handmade jewelry for your next wear! Stop by from 5:30-9pm.

  • Yoga at Biggers Market: Stretch from your head tomatoes! Local yogi Hannah Cicale will be teaching yoga at the Market St. location this Saturday at 9am — just show up! Bring a mat, a friend, and an appetite!

  • Pony Rides & Mini Horse Derby at Carolina Beach Pier: Saddle up and participate in a derby of your own this weekend! Porty City Minis is hosting a Pony Race Derby and will be offering a limited amount of hand-led pony rides. All ages are welcome.

  • Kentucky Derby Party at The Blind Elephant: Put on your best hat and pour yourself a julep! The Blind Elephant is hosting a watch party for all races and the main event — prizes are available if you pick a winning horse! The event will begin at 3pm.

  • 35th Annual River to Sea Bike Ride at Princess Street: From the river to the sea, and back again… All age groups are welcome to join the cyclists this weekend as they begin their 20-mile trek through the best parts of Wilmington! Helmets are required.

  • Kentucky Derby Garden Party at Tap Yard: We hope you have a seersucker suit! Put on your best Kentucky Derb garb for the garden party at Tap Yard this weekend! Enjoy fun drinks and activities as well as the chance to win several prizes, including the best hat! The party begins at 2pm.

  • Brunch and Bloody Mary Run at Fleet Feet: Do brunch the right way this Saturday with Fleet Feet! Join them for a themed run to the beach and back. You can make your own route, peruse a bloody mary bar, and snack on pancakes or a breakfast pastry. The run starts at 7am!

  • K38 Baja Grill Grand Opening at Carolina Beach: Your favorite restaurant just opened up at an all-new location! Celebrate K38 Baja Grill with free small queso, live music, hand-drawn caricatures, and the chance to win a custom surfboard! Stop by from 11am-10pm.
