WILMINGTON NEWS AND UPDATES

LeAnn Rimes postpones Wilmington show: Famous country music star LeAnn Rimes was scheduled to perform at the Wilson Center on May 17. The concert has been moved and is now scheduled for August 15.

Broadway comes to Port City: Several Broadway favorites are coming to stage at the Wilson Center. Eight shows will be running for the 2026-2027 season, including “Waitress”, “Mystic Pizza”, and “The Book of Mormon”. Tickets go on sale July 25.

Tequila Comida & Cantina closes: The riverfront restaurant Tequila, nestled in the Marina District, has closed as of May 4. The Monkey Junction location will remain open at this time.
