Pumpkins & Saddles at Amber Dale’s Pumpkin Patch: Celebrate the very best part of fall with Amber Dale and her pumpkin patch! Visit the pony corral, get a pumpkin or a mum, step into a fall-themed photobooth, and more — all from 10:30am-4pm.
Pumpkin Painting Party at DrumTrout: Create the prettiest pumpkin in the patch at DrumTrout! Pick one out, swipe some paint on it, and make it look very gourd! When you’re done, snack at the free caramel apple bar, play a game, or try a fall brew.
Fall Festival at Freya’s Haus: It’s fall, ya’ll! Celebrate in style with food trucks, live music, drink specials, family games, and more! This event is FREE and is open to all from 3-6pm. All proceeds support Love Is Bald!

Pumpkins & Purrs at Beauty and Bloom: Bring home a new snuggle buddy for the cozy season! All 4 Cats Rescue is hosting a fundraiser with adoptable cats, baked goods, a food truck, a pumpkin patch, and more. Stop by from 12-4pm.
Funky Fright Fest at The Bend: It’s never too early to celebrate Halloween! The Bend is celebrating all day long with fall goodies from local vendors, autumnal drinks from Brighter Days Coffee, sweet treats, and more! The fest is from 12-4pm.
Halloween Fall Plant Festival at Waterline Brewing Company: Give and take something special and green this weekend! Stop by from 1-3 pm to swap out one of your plants, build your own succulent, or create a pothos bowl! There will also be fun brews from Waterline, food from the T’Geaux Boys, and local vendors.
Help Mason Soar Fundraiser at Bowstring Burgers and Brewyard: Support local 12-year-old Mason — a regular at Wilmington Outdoor Adventures who was recently diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma. Stop by from 1-5pm for live bands, food, raffles, and auctions.
6th Annual Pumpkin Carving at The Brewer’s Kettle: Give the judges a fright with your carving skills! Bring your own pumpkin and tools for a chance to win a prize! Wear your costume and grab a free hot dog while you’re there!

Brooklyn Arts District launches new social district: The Brooklyn Arts District is now officially approved for a 10-block social district! Shoppers of age are now able to move between more than 20 businesses in the Brooklyn Arts District Collective while carrying alcoholic beverages on the first and third Saturdays of the month.
Broadway play now showing in Wilmington: The Broadway production “Home”, which takes place in North Carolina, is coming to Thalian Hall this month. The three performances will take place from October 17-19.
North Carolina State Fair announces live music lineup featuring three Wilmington bands: Three Wilmington bands have been chosen to play at the NC State Fair from October 16-26. Massive Grass, Striking Copper, and the Emily Burdette Duo are expected to take the stage in Raleigh.
