Fall Market at Fermental: It’s never too early to kick off holiday shopping! Peruse the fall market as you snack on acai bowls or Angry Lobster rolls, sip on beer or wine, and mingle with friends. Swing by from 12-5pm.
Community Storytime at the Wesley Pumpkin Patch: Nothing says “fall” like a cozy storytime in a pumpkin patch! Pack up the kids for a story, followed by face painting, a scavenger hunt, and, of course, a patch full of pumpkins to choose from! The story begins at 11am.

Pup-O-Ween at Hi-Wire Brewing: Is your dog a winner? Find out at the annual Dog Costume Party! Enter your dog for just $5 for a chance to win — proceeds will support Wagon Tails Farm Rescue. Check-in starts at 3pm!
Oysterberfest at Wrightsville Beach Brewery: Summer may be over, but wild oyster season is just beginning! Enjoy steamed and raw oysters and live music all day long — entrance is free and food/drink vouchers will be available for purchase!
Fall Festival and Fundraiser at Needham Animal Hospital: Give back to Freedom Ridge Animal Rescue by just having fun! Wear your Halloween costume for a chance to win a prize, enter a raffle, snack at a food truck, and more! Admission is $10. Stop by from 1-4pm.

Mosaic UMC church to support LGBTQ+ community with new venture: UMC Mosaic, a Methodist church located in Wilmington, is opening a new coffee shop to support LGBTQIA+ members. The space, while still under renovation, will support sanctuary, community and empowerment.
Wilmington to feature at NC State Fair: Wilmington is having a local show out at the annual NC State Fair in Raleigh! The fair, open from 10/16 to 10/26, features local chefs, distilleries, and restaurants. This weekend will mark the close of the fair for the 2025 season.
Wilmington breweries score high at the 2025 NC Brewers’ Cup: Several local breweries, including Flytrap Brewing and Wilmington Brewing Company, placed at the 2025 Brewers’ Cup. Local breweries were recognized for gold and silver status brews.
