  • Foodie Festival at Riverlights: We hope you’re hungry… for everything! Stop by the Foodie Festival for more than 30 local food vendors! Try local hot sauce, baked goods, vegan cuisine, fresh-squeezed lemonade, and more from 11am-3pm.

  • Pickle Party at Hi-Wire Brewing: Make sure you don’t miss the Pickle Party… It’s kind of a big dill! Wickles Pickle Beer is making a comeback at Hi-Wire, and they are celebrating with an afternoon of pickled fun… Join them for pickle fights, swag, and even a pickle-eating contest from 2-5pm.

  • Once Upon a Pumpkin at Amber Dale’s Pumpkin Patch: Bring your favorite tiny princess for a Cinderella-themed afternoon! The pumpkin patch is hosting a full day of royal activities, including face painting, Cinderella crafts, a visit from a princess, vendors for all ages, and more from 10:30am-4pm.

  • Illuminate Festival at Carolina Beach: Celebrate your mind, body, spirit, and the arts all in one place this weekend! Stop by to experience local exhibitors and their expertise in holistic wellness and the arts. There will also be vendors with handmade goods and free workshops! Stop by from 10am-5pm.

  • MasterChef All-Stars Live at the Wilson Center: Calling all cooks! Is your place in the kitchen? Well, tonight it’ll be in the audience as you watch MasterChef LIVE! Get your ticket today to get up close and personal with culinary all-stars as they share their experiences and tips, and tricks you can take home!

  • World Rivers Day Celebration at Carolina Beach State Park Marina: Give back to our community by joining a free guided hike and light litter clean-up for World Rivers Day! Ranger Jesse will share the rich history of the Cape Fear River and guide you along the 3-mile Sugarloaf trail. Register today!

Wilmington to feature in ‘Outer Banks’ final season: Local favorite Netflix show ‘Outer Banks’ will be returning to Wilmington to film scenes for their final season. Filming will resume this week.

Gangnam Korean BBQ is coming to Wilmington: The famous Korean BBQ and hotpot restaurant is opening a new location in the Wilmington area. The new restaurant, ‘Burnin 99’, is going to open in the University Commons shopping center and is expected to feature an all-you-can-eat style menu.

NC chef is premiering new TV show ‘Kitchen Curious’: Howard is an award-winning chef local to North Carolina and is expanding her culinary career with a new TV show! ‘Kitchen Curious’ will explore the “why” of what we cook and eat today and will premiere on October 6 via streaming.
